The Sri Raam Bhajana Mandiram (SRBM) is a South African Hindu based Non Profit Organisation, established on 14 February 1999.

We seek to honour the Divine and Spiritual Being that is innate in each of us by impacting the lives of our members and community through the Hindu ethos approach. We believe that God owns this organisation and we are simply His stewards of it for a season. We want to make sure that all we do in and through the organisation honours Him first. By the same token, we do not want to do anything that will dishonour Him. We are here, and that this organisation exists, for the purpose of impacting people for eternity; this is our ultimate goal

Humble Pranams to our Online Community. The Sri Raam Bhajana Mandiram (SRBM) is a South African Hindu based Non-Profit Organisation, established on 14 February 1999.

We want to take our members and those in the community and “move” them from their current position or circumstances to a better place.

Regardless of where they are in life (financially, professionally, emotionally, etc.), we want to move them to an improved situation.

As a registered Non-Profit Organisation, we are expected to follow certain rules and regulations set forth in legislative acts.

It is good governance for every organisation to have contractual agreements with their online community. However, at Sri Raam Bhajana Mandiram we believe that it’s more important for our online community to understand, first and foremost, our underlying philosophy, which is that we are here, and that this organisation exists, for the purpose of impacting people for eternity. This is our ultimate goal.

Introduction

Unless the context clearly indicates to the contrary, any capitalised term in this Privacy Policy shall bear the same meaning as defined in the Sri Raam Bhajana Mandiram’s General Terms which definitions shall be deemed to have been incorporated herein by reference.

If you choose to pay for the Services you order from Sri Raam Bhajana Mandiram by way of debit order, Sri Raam Bhajana Mandiram will request your banking details to include in the periodic debit order transactions. Sri Raam Bhajana Mandiram also collects personal information for purposes of improving its Service offering and for purposes of increasing service efficiency.

Membership Terms & Conditions

Membership Terms, Conditions & Rules

Membership to the SRBM is open not only to all Hindus but also to all who sincerely believe in the universal teachings of Hindu Philosophy as dictated in the Hindu scriptures and who shall observe dignity and respect for the sanctity of the SRBM consistent with Hindu philosophy and way of life.
The Applicant is expected to attend all SRBM Activities with a good attitude and an open mind, willing to listen, learn and share.
The Applicant shall register and sign a membership form and pay the appropriate membership fees.
The Applicant shall prescribe to the objectives, mission, vision and constitution of the SRBM.
The Member acknowledges and promises NOT to conduct any fraudulent or business activities or bring the organisation and its members into disrepute.
The applicant should be physically and mentally strong and willing to work for the organization individually or in a group and travel at their own expenses.
The Applicant is willing to work and obey the Executive Council.
The Applicant will give their best effort to fulfil all objectives and tasks assigned to him or her.
The Applicant must attend the General Council Meetings and Annual General Meeting.
The meetings will be held on weekends either on a Saturday or Sunday at various locations.
Meetings will be headed by the Executive Council and General Council Members.
All applications to the General Council will be approved by the Executive Council. An Applicant is selected and can be removed by the Executive Council without notice or giving reason for misconduct, misbehaviour, indiscipline.
The Applicant agrees that acceptance to the General Council is subjected to the acceptance of SRBM’s Legal Documentation (printed and Online versions).

Membership Admission & Subscription Fees

Membership fees shall be determined by the Executive Council and subject to annual revision.
Annual/ Full Time membership fees is set at One Hundred and One Rand (R101.00) per annum per member.
Discount for family membership allowed at Fifty Rand (R50.00) per annum per member for family of two (2)
Discount for family membership allowed at Twenty Five Rand (R25.00) per annum per member for family of 3 or more.
Annual membership fees shall be paid on a calendar year basis starting from March 1st to February 28th and covers only the calendar year in which it is paid.
Membership fees are non-refundable.
Initial membership fees to be paid with the Application Form and proof of payment must be sent to finance@srbm.co.za.
Rejection of an Application, the membership fee will be refund in a week.

Everything we say and do is based on the foundation of love, compassion and service. Our membership is founded on authentic and unconditional Love.

You will be involved in the continuous preservation, propagation and development of the Hindu culture such as Raam Bhajan, Kolataam, Devotional Hymns, Prayer Recitals, etc. and this shall be the implements we use to educate the community about Sanathana Dharma (Hindu way of life)

You will learn to understand the complex Vedic and Puranic text that help you to lead a virtuous, righteous and simple life by instilling simple morals, values and religious awareness.

You will be involved in the development and general welfare of the community by supporting and encouraging good interactions between various cultural bodies that is working towards the welfare of citizens in our society who need help to overcome the consequences of poverty, crime, abuse and other forms of deprivation and suffering irrespective of a person’s age gender, race, colour, religion, national origin, spoken language, or disabilities.
